Our Mission
The Refugio Animal Sanctuary is a place that provides a safe and loving home for animals that have been mistreated, abandoned, or rescued from dangerous situations. The dedicated staff and volunteers ensure the well-being of each animal by providing them with food, veterinary care, and lots of affection. The sanctuary also raises awareness about animal protection and responsible adoption in the community. The sanctuary offers a second chance to these vulnerable animals, allowing them to live in a safe environment. The sanctuary is committed to animals in need and practices euthanasia ONLY when an animal is suffering with no chance for recovery, NEVER for convenience.
